Parental feedback is important to us.

Early in the Autumn 2017 term, parents/carers were invited to complete the survey during
parents evening and were provided with iPads to do so.

Parents/carers were also sent letters explaining how to
complete the survey online, should they not wish to complete during parents evening.

The results are shown in the attached document.

 

Ofsted have a statutory duty to have regard to the views of parents.

Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about Heltwate, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.

Early in the Autumn 2017 term, all students were given the opportunity during school time to complete the survey if they wanted to take part , (and it was deemed appropriate by class teachers

124 response were received in total from students within all areas of the school, apart from Rainbow 1. 34 students from Lower School, 56 Students from Upper School, 19 students from Rainbow Rooms, (ASC provision), and 15 students from Olympic College, (Post16 provision). Heltwate currently has 170 students on role, resulting in a response figure of 74%.
