A word from the Governors
On behalf of the governing board of Heltwate School we would like to offer you a warm welcome to the governors’ section of the school website.
Governors work closely with the Headteacher and senior staff to ensure Heltwate continues to meet its high standards offering outstanding quality of care and education in a safe and secure environment.
Our governors have a wealth of specialist knowledge in the fields of health, finance, business, education and social care. This enables us to hold the school to account and set its strategic direction, thus demonstrating good governance. The governors are highly committed to Heltwate’s success. All share in the Learning Sharing Growing Caring ethos of the school and strongly support its Vision and Aims. The governors give their time and expertise on a voluntary basis and are willing to do so because the pupils and staff are such a joy to work with. We are looking forward to our future challenges with enthusiasm and creativity.
