As many of you are aware Heltwate will soon have a satellite center along St Paul’s Road in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough. This will be used to alleviate some of the pressures of our ever expanding school whilst we await the construction of our new building.
Along with Peterborough City Council and Hamson Barron Smith, Heltwate has been very busy helping to redesign this building.
This page will be used to share any news, photos and updates regarding this build.
Checking out the site of our new potential satellite school. Lots of improvements to be made.
Builders are now on site and have begun work on adapting the building.
Lots of progress over the last few months with lots of internal work being completed.
Starting to show around staff who will be working at the new site. Again lots of structural work completed and you are beginning to see the overall layout of the building.
Thanks for Stuart (Site manager) from Carters and his team for an awesome visit.
Today our furniture contractors are touring the site. Massive changes and it is beginning to look like a school in places. A few more weeks and we will be able to show around the first group of students!
Today the students all visited the site. Spilt over 4 groups students were excited to see the long anticipated St George’s campus. As we toured the site students had plenty of questions for both site staff as well as Mr Fox.
The end is within sight!
Well, it has been a long road but Heltwate at St George’s is nearly completed. Today marked one of the final visits to site with another set of ‘work in progress’ images for you all to look over. It has been a huge learning curve for all concerned but the final product is of a high standard.
See you all in September 2018
